DAVAR Vocational Training

Davar makes it possible to find community-based jobs, internships and training opportunities for people with disabilities to become a salaried employee in a community. On-site job training will fade as support is no longer required by a work coach. However, a work coach will continue to monitor progress on a weekly basis. We also provide a program for unpaid work experience, here a mentor is on hand to offer guidance and assistance. When appropriate a community-based program is available for the individual when guidance is no longer required.
